I am wondering if there are other people who are experiencing a similar issue. I had tried all the online solution for this. You can start by cutting down some startup programs to speed up boot time on Windows 11. After login system again takes some time to load the desktop completely. It was taking 4-5 min to get in to the login screen. Few months back i faced a slow startup issue in Windows 10. Yet, if I open Power BI desktop again, the problem persists (the old PBI desktop window - I cannot save while the other application is being loaded). This symptom is persistent regardless what I do - I even re-installed Windows 11 to see if it fixes the issue. I first thought it was frozen - only Power BI logo is visible with two windows (one with logo and the other with blank page) open in the taskbar. I recently discovered this symptom after some recent updates.
It takes up about 550 MB memory, which is not unusual.
